I am a longtime member of BNI. I was a member of BNI for over 5 years in Manhattan before moving home to Illinois. BNI stands for Business Networking International and it a great way to build a referral network for long-term sustainable growth in your business. I’m currently in a start-up BNI chapter in Champaign and we are looking to recruit a financial advisor, attorneys in different practice areas (e.g., personal injury, criminal law, bankruptcy, traffic law), an accountant, and people in the health and wellness sphere.
I love BNI. The purpose of BNI is to have a “Giver’s Gain” mentality and to refer business to others in hopes that they will return the business to you. It is a perfect way to propel organic business growth in the community.
